Command Line Interface (CLI)
For any new turboIP-G2 unit, the console will first display the EULA (End User License
Agreement), and a run-through of the Configuration Wizard is required. Refer to Chapter 4.
CONFIGURING AND UPDATING for detailed information regarding first-time unit
configuration.
5.2.1
CLI Login
Upon successful configuration and startup of the unit, the user is first prompted to log in with the
User ID and Password.

A successful login results in the display of the turboIP-G2 CLI Main Menu screen and the last
active session:
A note about interface appearance: The appearance of the terminal emulator-based CLI may
vary across individual user configurations. While the Main Menu screen shown above depicts use
of a HyperTerminal interface, all subsequent screen shots in this chapter depict only the CLI
screen and not the terminal emulator interface itself.
