4.1 Important Configuration Notes
1. The turbo IP-G2 must first be placed in the link such that it has visibility of
TCP traffic in both directions; i.e., forward traffic as well as the TCP
acknowledgments must pass through the unit.
If the unit is connected such that it has visibility only of forward traffic or
TCP acknowledgments, all such TCP sessions through the turboIP-G2 will
not
be accelerated.
2. During configuration of the turboIP-G2, all changes take effect immediately,
with the exception of the following three changes, which require reboot of
the unit:
• Initial Configuration Wizard
• Restore to Factory Defaults
• Updating the Unit Software
