4.12 Cleaning the Air Filter
The air filter in the SDM-9600 chassis should be verified on a regular basis and cleaned
when required.
To clean the air filter:
1. Unscrew the M2.5 screw located near the center of the fan unit front panel. Refer to
Figure 4-8 .
NOTE:
This screw can be loosened, but not removed.
CAUTION:
Do not unscrew the knurled M3 retention screw at the bottom of
the fan unit, which hold the fans in place.
2. Slide the air filter tray out of the SDM-9600 chassis.
