Importing a Lesson from Microsoft Word
Lessons created in Microsoft Word or other word processor programs can be imported for use in CPS with proper formatting.
The lesson must be saved in the RTF format. For more information on formatting the RTF document, see

Click Lessons.

Click the Import/Export
drop-down menu from the toolbar and select Import from RTF.
The CPS: Import From RTF window appears.

Select the RTF file to import and click Import.
The lesson now appears in CPS.
Exporting Mac Lessons to a PC
A CPS database or lesson created on a Mac can be exported to CPS for PC.
IMPORTANT
To open a CPS lesson from a Mac on a PC, the file must be saved as CXM file.

Open CPS from the desktop icon on your Mac.

Click Lessons.

Click the name of the database or lesson to export.

Click Import/Export
and select Export to CXM.
The Save window appears.

Select a location to save your database or lesson.
TIP
Save the database or lesson(s) to a removable storage device to easily transfer from the Mac to
the PC.
