Configure Outputs – Rack Module
This menu allows configuration of the two DMX512 outputs on each
of the two Trunk Breakout Boxes.
The highlighted universe can be changed by selecting the down
arrow (
) or up arrow (
). Move to the next universe by selecting
next
. Pressing
done
will prompt a confirmation screen that allows
for changes to be committed or discarded. Note that if no changes
were made, or the menu was changed but all items were returned
to their initial value, pressing
done
will result in a simple exit to the
I/O SUMMARY menu.
Configure Outputs – Front of House Module
This menu allows configuration of the two DMX512 outputs on the
associated Rack Module.
The highlighted universe can be changed by selecting the down arrow
(
) or up arrow (
). Move to the next universe by selecting
next
. Pressing
done
will prompt a confirmation screen that allows for changes to be
committed or discarded. Note that if no changes were made, or the
menu was changed but all items were returned to their initial value,
pressing
done
will result in a simple exit to the I/O SUMMARY menu.
Source Selection
This menu allows a choice of the module input system (source) and
shows the number of active universes for each specified input source.
The highlighted source is the current source for this module. This can be
changed by selecting the
a, b
, or
c
entry from the last row of the menu.
When finished, pressing
exit
will bring up a confirmation that allows for a
source change to be committed or discarded. Note that if no change
was made, or the source was changed but it was returned to its initial
value, pressing
exit
will return to the I/O SUMMARY menu.
System Overview
This menu shows a summary of system activity and devices. It
displays racks in alphabetical order.
The
Univ
field shows the number of DMX512 universes currently
active on the network. This is broken down by system source (A, B, C,
and *) for each universe.
The
Rack I/F
field shows the number of Rack Modules on the
network.
The
FOH I/F
field shows the number of Front of House modules on
the network.
In this example, there are ten (10) universe inputs on sources A and B,
zero (0) universe inputs on sources C and *, five (5) Rack Modules, two
(2) FOH Module, and two (2) Nodes in the system.
Pressing
univ
will access the SYSTEM: UNIVERSES list which shows
the name of the source device (if available) and the source port
number.
