Using the Tuner
Finding a Station
The following steps show you how to
tune in to FM and AM radio
broadcasts using the automatic
(search) and manual (step) tuning
functions. If you already know the
exact frequency of the station you
want to listen to, see “Tuning Directly
to a Station” on page 65. Once you
are tuned to a station you can
memorize the frequency for recall
later—see “Memorizing Stations” on
page 66 for more on how to do this.
1 Press the
MULTI CONTROL
TUN button on the remote
control.
On the receiver, use the MULTI
JOG to select the tuner mode.
2 Use the
BAND
button to
change the band (FM or AM),
if necessary.
Each press switches the band
between FM and AM On the
receiver, pressing the BAND
button switches between bands.
3 Tune to a station.
Automatic tuning
To search for stations in the
currently selected band, press and
hold either the TUNE + or TUNE -
button for about a second. The
receiver will start searching for the
next station, stopping when it has
found one. Repeat this step to
search for other stations.
Manual tuning
To change the frequency one step
at a time, press the TUNE + or
TUNE- (AV) buttons.
High speed tuning
Press and hold the TUNE + or
TUNE - button for high speed
tuning, releasing the button once
the desired frequency is reached.

Pulse el botón
MULTI
CONTROL TUN
en el mando
a distancia.
En el receptor, utilice el MULTI
JOG para seleccionar el modo de
sintonizador.
2 Utilice el botón
BAND
para
cambiar la banda (FM o AM
si es necesario).
Cada pulsación cambia la banda
entre FM y AM. En el receptor,
pulsando el botón BAND se
cambia entre bandas.
3 Sintonice una emisora.
Sintonización automática
Para buscar emisoras en la banda
seleccionada actualmente pulse y
mantenga pulsado el botón TUNE
+ o TUNE - durante un segundo
aproximadamente. El receptor
comenzará a buscar la próxima
emisora, deteniéndose cuando
encuentre una. Repita este paso
para buscar otras emisoras.
Sintonización manual
Para cambiar la frecuencia un
intervalo cada vez, pulse los
botones TUNE + o TUNE - (AV).
Sintonización a alta velocidad
Pulse y mantenga pulsado el botón
TUNE + o TUNE - para una
sintonización a alta velocidad,
soltando el botón una vez que se
alcance la frecuencia deseada.
