® LOUDNESS button
Use to switch on the loudness. This
feature is useful for getting good bass
and treble sounds listening at low
volumes.
FL DIMMER button
Use this button to make the fluores­
cent display (FL) dimmer or brighter.
There are three brightness settings as
well as an off setting.
SETUP button (see page 70-79)
Use this button when setting up the
remote control to control other
components.
MUTING button
Use to mute the sound or restore the
sound if it has been muted.
® THE FOLLOWING BUTTONS
ARE DEDICATED TV CONTROL
BUTTONS. THEY ARE ONLY USED
FOR CONTROLLING YOUR TV.
TV FUNC button
Use to select the TV function.
TV (1) button
Use to turn on/off the power of the TV
TV VOLUME +/- buttons
Use to adjust the volume on your TV.
® MENU button
Use to access different menus
associated with your DVD player. To
use first press the DVD button then
operate this button.
O MASTER VOLUME +/- buttons
Use to set the overall listening volume.
® CHANNEL +/- buttons
Use to skip tracks backward or
forward on CDs, DVDs, etc and
change channels on the VCR, DVR, etc.
® <> A V ( TUNE/ST +/-) &
ENTER buttons (see pages 29-42)
Use these arrow buttons when setting
up your surround sound system (see
pages 29-43). These buttons are also
used to control DVD menus/options
and for deck 1 of a double cassette
deck player (see pages 80-81). The
TUNE/ST +/- buttons can be used to
find radio frequencies and preset
stations, respectively (see pages 63-67).
® DISC button
Use to select a disc and a multi-CD
player. To use first press the CD
button then operate this button.
® RECEIVER (1) (POWER) button
This switches between STANDBY
mode and power ON for this receiver.
® LED DISPLAY (see pages 70-79)
This display flashes when a command
is sent from the remote control to the
receiver. It also flashes at other times,
for example when teaching the receiver
preset codes, with specific meanings.

Utilice estos botones de flechas al
configurar su sistema de sonido surround
(consulte las pg, 29-43). Estos botones
también se usan para controlar los mentis/
opciones de DVD y para la unidad 1 de
una platina de doble casete (consulte las
pg. 82-83). Los botones TUNE/ST +/-
pueden utilizarse para encontrar
frecuencias de radio y presintonías
respectivamente (consulte las pg. 63-67).
® Botón DISC
Utilícelo para seleccionar un disco en un
reproductor de CDs múltiples. Para
utilizarlo pulse primero el botón CD y a
continuación opere este botón.

Éste cambia entre el modo de espera
(STANDBY) y ENCENDIDO para este
receptor.

Esta pantalla parpadea cuando se envía un
comando desde el mando a distancia hasta
el receptor. También parpadea en otras
ocasiones, por ejemplo, al memorizar en el
receptor códigos predefinidos con
significados específicos.
