Is there strong ambient light? Block the ambient light.

vibrate?
Take appropriate countermeasures
such as vibration isolation.

properly set?
Adjust to the proper settings.

slanted or displaced?
Place the measurement target
properly within the measurement

calibrated properly?
Calibrate the unit again.
