Maintenance
This chapter gives instructions on all maintenance work to be performed in order to keep the device
in good working condition.

Warning
Death or serious injuries by contact with high voltage.
• All maintenance and repair work requiring the opening or removal of device covers may only
be carried out by trained personnel and with the tools provided for this purpose.
• Prior to all maintenance work on the device switch off the power supply and remove all
sources of flammable vapor.
• Only open the housing of the product while the device is switched off and unplugged. Let the
device cool down for at least 30 minutes after switching off.
• The device may not be reconnected to the power supply before the housing has been closed
properly!

• Always wear personal protective equipment such as protective eye goggles, protective
clothing and gloves when maintaining the instrument.

All instructions aimed at maintaining the KjelMaster/KjelSampler systems (K-375/K-376 or
K-375/K-377) respectively the KjelMaster K-375 (standalone) in good working condition are to be
observed. This also includes periodic cleaning and checking for any possible damage.
After each maintenance process the measurement-technical reliability according to EN ISO8655, Part
3 and 6 has to be verified.
If a disturbance, a malfunction or another defect becomes obvious, the maintenance work must be
carried out immediately.
