Using the Supplied USB Reader/W riter for SD
Memory Card
Using the supplied USB Reader/Writer for SD Memory Card lets you import
the still pictures recorded on the MultiMediaCard or SD Memory Card with
ease into a computer.

Computer System Requirements
• This Software can be installed in PC/AT compatible personal computers
with Microsoft®Windows®98/Me, Wtndows®2000 preinstalled and
equipped with a USB port.

I Installing the driver of the USB ReaderAVriter for SD
Memory Card (Windows® 98/Me)
• For users using Windows®2000, please refer to page 46 regarding to
installation.
Start the following installation procedure
without
inserting the USB Reader/
Writer for SD Memory Card into the USB port on the computer. Otherwise
Windows installer will start and the installation process will not be completed
successfully.
• In the case of inserting the USB Reader/Writer for SD Memory Card into the
Computer by mistake, remove the USB Reader/Writer for SD Memory Card
first, and then proceed with the following operations.
1 Turn on the power of the computer, and start Windows.
2 Insert the supplied CD-ROM into the CO-ROM drive.
• (Setup Menu] appears.
3 Click the [USB Reader/Writer] icon on the [Setup Menu].
4 Select [English] on the [Choose Setup Language] window,
and click [OK].
The [InstallShield Wizard] window now appears, and the installation
commences. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation
procedure.
5 When the message indicating that the installation has been
completed appears, click [Finish], and re-start the computer.
6 Plug the USB Reader/Writer for SD Memory Card's
connector O
USB port o on the computer.
The [New Hardware Found] window appears, and the driver is registered
automatically.
7 OF>en [My Computer] or [Windows Explorer] etc., to check
the drive is displayed as a removable disk drive 0
Note:
If a window does not appear automatically, click the “Start” Button on your
desktop and then click “Run”. When the “Run” Box is open, type in
“D;\lnstMenu.exe” and click “OK”. (“D” applies when the CD-ROM drive is
drive D.)
When the Installation is not successful:
Remove the USB Reader/Writer for SD Memory Card from the computer first,
and then proceed with the above operations again.
