Using your Paimcorder with Digitai Video
Equipment
(Dubbing)
By connecting this Palmcorder with other digital video equipment (such as
another Paimcorder of the same modei) that has a DV input/output terminai
(i.LiNK) using a DV interface cable PV-DDC9 (optional) Q, high quality
Image and sounds can be dubbed in the digital mode.
[Playback Unit (^]
1 Insert the recorded Cassette and set the Palmcorder to the
VCR Mode.

2 Insert a Cassette to be used for dubbing and set the
Palmcorder to the VCR mode.

3 Press the [^] Button to start playback.

4 While pressing the [REC] Button, press the [PLAY] Button.
(Both Buttons are located on the Remote Controller.)
• Recording starts.
Stopping Dubbing
Press the [■] Button on the recording unit first, and then press the [■] Button
on the playback unit to stop dubbing.

PC Connection with DV interface Cable
A live image can be transferred directly to your Computer (personal
Computer) via a DV Interface Cable (not supplied) using products and
software from Digital Origin (formerly Radius), Canopus or Pinnacle.
Using these products allows you to capture live images onto your Computer,
edit the captured image, etc.
