Protecting the Pictures on a Memory Card from
Accidentai Erasure (nie Lock)
Precious pictures recorded on a Memory Card can be locked to prevent
accidental erasure. {Even if pictures are locked, the pictures will be deleted
when the Memory Card is formatted.)
35).... After set to the Card Playback Mode (
1 Set (CARD FUNCTIONS] » [CARD EDITING] » [FILE LOCK]
»[YES].
2 Rotate the [PUSH] Dial to select [PICTURE] or [TITLE], and
then press it.
• The [FILE LOCK] Menu Q is displayed.
3 Rotate the [PUSH] Dial to select the picture to be locked, and
then press it.
• The (o-n-j Indication @ is attached to the selected picture.
• Press the [PUSH] Dial again to cancel.
? •The same setting can be performed using the short-cut menu {-¥ 18).
Deleting the pictures recorded on a Memory
Card
Using the Palmcorder, you can delete the still pictures and titles recorded on
a Memory Card. After the picture is deleted, it cannot be restored.
After set to the Card Playback Mode (-» 35).....
To Select and Delete Picture(s) by selection
1 Set [CARD FUNCTIONS] » [DELETE PICTURE/TITLE] »
[DELETE PICTURE BY SELECTION] or [DELETE TITLE BY
SELECTION].
2 Rotate the [PUSH] Dial to select the picture that you want to
delete, and then press it.
• The selected picture flashes.
• To delete more than 1 picture, repeat this step.
3 Press the [PHOTO SHOT] Button.
• A verification message appears.
4 Rotate the [PUSH] Dial to select [YES] and then press it.
• The selected picture is deleted from the Memory Card.
To Delete all Pictures
1 Set [CARD FUNCTIONS] » [DELETE PICTURE/TITLE] »
[DELETE ALL PICTURES].
• A verification message appears.
2 Rotate the [PUSH] Dial to select [YES] and then press it.
• Alt the pictures stored in the Memory Card are deleted.
• A locked picture cannot be deleted.
•The same setting can be performed using the short-cut menu (-♦ 10).
