9.1.6 Fwd Critical Event

To change when Network Management is alerted to a critical event:

1. Type 6 and press . The User Port column entry will be highlighted.

2. If you wish to change the User Port setting, use to change between When

Extension Link Down and No, then press to lock in the setting and move to the
Extension Port column.

3. If you do not want to change the User Port entry, use to move the highlight to the

Extension Port entry. Use to change between When User Link Down and No,
then press to lock in the setting. OAM Peer Information

The OAM Control screen provides the customer with information concerning OAM Peer Status,
OAM Peer MAC Address, OAM Peer Vendor, OAM Peer Vendor Info (Hex), OAM Peer Mode,
OAM Peer Max PDU Size, OAM Peer Config Revision, and AM Peer Functions Supported. From
the OAM Control screen, type 2 and press The OAM Peer Information screen (see Fig-
ure 9-3) appears. Press to return to the 802.3AH OAM menu.

9.2 OAM Statistics

The OAM Statistics screen provides the customer with information concerning OAMPDUs, Event
Notifications, Loopback Requests, Variable Requests and Responses, and Unsupported
Opcodes. From the OAM Control screen. Type 3 and press The OAM Statistics screen
(see Figure 9-4) appears. Press to return to the 802.3AH OAM menu
