1.1.4 Aux IP Rate Limiting
To prevent traffic coming in on the Aux IP from flooding the 9145, Aux IP will be rate limited @
100 pps as a default, with an option to disable the rate limiting. If rate limiting is disabled, a coun-
ter of 5 minutes is launched to bring to unit back to default setting. The possibility to ping from
ANY VLAN has also been added.
1.1.5 PCP/DSCP Verification Mechanism
While performing a Latency/Jitter test, the user is notified by the 9145 if it receives a test packet
with a p-bit or DSCP value in the packet header that does not match the original value contained
in the test packet ICMP payload. If the p-bit or DSCP value is not the same as what is contained
within the ICMP test packet payload, the NID will remark the value to the original value before for-
warding it back to the Master NID.
1.1.6 Line Rate Utilization Field in UI
The Layer 2 Statistics screen is modified to show Line Rate Utilization approximation for both
User and Ext ports.
1.1.7 Prevent Configuration Change During Latency/Jitter Test
This feature prevents the user from changing managed objects for the Latency/Jitter test feature
while a test is in progress.
1.1.8 PM Manual Test Indication
A visual indicator in the UI now shows when a manual PM test is in progress
1.1.9 Extension Port VLAN Filtering
Port Based Vlan Control now works for both the User Port and the Extension Port.
1.1.10 Addition of New MIBs for CV2.0
Account, security and other applicable MIBs have been added for SNMP and CanogaView 2.0
support.
1.1.11 Expand VLAN Translation Table to 128 Entries
The number of VLAN ID Translation entries has been increased from 8 to 128.
1.1.12 LLC Encapsulation Option for CFM
LLC SNAP format support has been added for VLAN loopback, so the user has the option to
select whether CFM PDUs are encapsulated using Ethernet (802.3) or LLC (802.2) encapsula-
tion.
