5.1 Link Status
Link Status informs you of the current link status of both the user and extension ports of the 9145
and provides information on SFP Rx and Tx power. The Link Status screen (see Figure 5-2) pro-
vides the current status of both user and extension port links. From the Port Information screen
(see Figure 5-1), type 1 and press to access the Link Status screen. Press to
return to the Port Information screen.

5.2 Port Configuration
The Port Configuration menu allows the customer to use the Port Configuration functions to
obtain hardware information, view and modify the functional and VLAN configurations, manage
the various port filters, and to add, delete and edit VLAN controls. From the Port Information
screen (see Figure 5-1), type 2 and press to access the Port Configuration screen. The
following paragraphs describe each item on the Port Configuration menu. Press to return
to the Port Information screen.
