Use the dropdown menus to select the Starting time, the frequency at which to
repeat the snapshot (Repeat every frequency), the Beginning day, the Volume,
and how long to Keep count.

4.

Click OK to delete the item or Cancel to leave the item intact.

Taking a New Snapshot

To take an immediate snapshot, perform the following steps:

1.

From the Menu bar, click Disks and Volumes, then click ActiveArchive.

2.

From the Tasks list on the Schedule page, click New...

3.

Use the dropdown menu to select the Volume to preserve.

4.

Click OK to delete the item or Cancel to leave the item intact.

Deleting a Snapshot

To delete a snapshot, perform the following steps:

1.

From the Menu bar, click Disks and Volumes, then click ActiveArchive.

2.

From the Tasks list on the Schedule page, click List.

3.

On the Snapshot List page, click the radio button next to the snapshot to be
deleted.

4.

From the Tasks list, click Delete.

5.

Click OK to delete the item or Cancel to leave the item intact.

Configuring the Snapshot Environment

You can use dropdown menus to modify the various aspects of the snapshot
environment.

1.

From the Menu bar, click Disks and Volumes, then click ActiveArchive.

2.

From the Tasks list on the Schedule page, click Configure.

NOTE: Some of the options display only if there is an active snapshot.

Restore Defaults reestablishes the system defaults.

Maximum Snapshots

This specifies the maximum number of active snapshots supported by the server, up
to a maximum of 250. When the system has 250 snapshots stored, starting another
snapshot will overwrite the oldest snapshot.
