Troubleshooting LCD Display Problems
LCD display includes a built in self-test which allows the user to diagnose and
troubleshoot any issues related to the application.
To run the Built-in Self-Test
1 Ensure that the system is switched off.
2 Press and hold the menu button (see "Understanding Windows®
SideShow™ and the LCD display" on page 50).
3 Power the system on. Release the menu button.
4 The system enters diagnostic test menu.
5 Select Run All Test.
6 When all the tests are completed, the screen displays a Passed (displayed
in Green) or Failed (displayed in Red) message.
7 Note down the error code and the Failed message description and contact
Dell (see "Contacting Dell" on page 200).
