Remote Data Reporting
Remote Data Reporting window
This window includes the parameters for setting up remote delivery of data
from the XiLog+ to the designated host system(s).
Message Type
This drop-down list contains the options for selecting the delivery method
(SMS or FTP using GPRS technology) through which the XiLog+ will send
data.
Selecting SMS sends reports to as many as 3 host numbers (when applicable).
Selecting FTP transfers data via FTP (File Transfer Protocol) to an FTP
Server. This requires entering the details of the server.
Use Automatic GSM Clock Correction
Selecting this checkbox automatically adjusts the clock in the XiLog+ to the
time in the GSM network. Using this option for FTP messaging requires
identifying the specific server address (URL) at which the time sync script
(PHP file) is available and designating the appropriate port. Enter this
information in the Synchronization Script URL and Port fields.
