Main Seed Box Baffles
These kits include forms
that stop seed flow above
seed tubes for groups of rows. The forms also prevent
seed piling above unused rows. On rows near box ends
or dividers, corks
are included to stop seed flow.
Each kit includes a set of baffles, and is complete for the
drill width and row configuration in the part description.
To reduce wear on unused rows, and make more weight
available to active rows, also lock-up unused rows with
pins. See “Lock-Up Pins” on page 130.
Main Seed Box Seed Tube Corks
This plug stops seed flow from the main seed box at the
top of a seed tube. It prevents flow independently of the
sliding cap at the seed meter.
Corks allow arbitrary altered row spacings, but do not
prevent seed piling at unused rows as baffles do.
Order one cork per row to set inactive.
If rows are shut off with seed tube corks, you can reduce
unnecessary wear on the unused row units, and increase
weight available to used rows, by locking up unused
rows. See “Lock-Up Pins” on page 130.
