If the sensor is compatible, these cables share the signal between your existing tractor systems and the monitor.
Hydraulic Meter Drive
This option provides direct and precise tractor cab
control of main box seed rate.
It replaces the ground drive Range and Transmission
chains with a hydraulic motor, motor controller and cab
console. The ground drive assemblies are left in place,
and are upgraded with speed sensors and a brake to
prevent freewheeling.
The hydraulic drive is dealer or field installed.
There are two models available. The “MT” (Min Till)
model is for drills hitched directly to tractors. The “NT”
(No Till) model includes longer hydraulic hoses, and is
intended for drills using accessory hitches.
Small Seeds and/or Fertilizer options are not presently
supported when a hydraulic drive is installed.
The hydraulic drive includes its own wheel-mounted
speed sensor, and does not use any radar installed. The
speed sensor included with the hydraulic drive is not
shared with the optional Seed Monitor.
