Press wheel or row units

Planting conditions too wet.

Loose or missing bolts or fasteners.
Check all bolts and fasteners.
Needle valve plugged.
Open needle valve, cycle markers slowly
and reset needle valve, refer to page 66.
Marker disk does not
mark
Marker folding linkage does not have
enough slack to allow marker disk to drop
into field depressions.
Adjust chain slack. Maximum down float
should be limited by the slot at the rod end
of the marker cylinder, refer to page 24.
Insufficient disc angle for conditions
Increase disc angle, or reverse marker
disc entirely. See page 66.
Population Alarms
(with optional seed monitor)
False alarms or actual seed rate errors
due to monitor setup with incorrect row
count and/or spacing.
Review drill configuration and monitor
setup.
Volumetric seeds too small for sensors to
detect reliably.
Add more margin to alert limits or disable
alerts.
Chains Fouled
Chain clip snagging debris.
Check that clip opening face away from
travel. See page 112.
