Programmable I/O, Pins 9–14
The terminal block provides six discrete programmable I/O connections. Each programmable I/O can be
configured as follows:
• Input current sinking mode (external PNP driver) (default)
• Input current sourcing mode (external NPN driver)
• Output current sinking mode (NPN)
• Output current sourcing mode (PNP)

Product Change, Pin 15
The Product Change input provides a signal to the controller to load the inspection indicated by the Product Select
inputs. The inspection loaded will be executed at a valid trigger.
• The Product Change input responds to the leading edge transition of a pulse greater than 1 ms.
• Product Change / Product Select modes:
- Input current sinking mode (external PNP driver)
- Input current sourcing mode (external NPN driver)
• The Product Select inputs must be valid at least 1 ms before the leading edge of the Product Change.
