To prevent this issue:
Avoid disabling the zero client's DHCP setting.
If you specify a static IP address for the host card, ensure that you record it.
Ensure that the zero client's IP address and default gateway are on the same subnet.
USB device connected to zero client, gray dialog
box displayed
You can enable mass storage lockout from an R-series blade’s motherboard and through the host
card configuration Web page. When you insert a USB device in a zero client, a gray dialog box is
displayed that says USB device is not authorized for use.
Resolution
Remove the USB device to dismiss the dialog box.
Zero client video degrades or displays do not work
If the zero client does not receive adequate airflow and cooling, or if the ambient temperature
around the zero client is above 35° C, you might experience either of the following:
Video degradation
Two displays cease to function
Additionally, ensure that:
There is adequate bandwidth available for the amount of video, audio, and USB data used
The bandwidth limit is not set too low for the amount of video, audio, and USB data
