DeviceNet Adapter for use with DPI AC Drives
4.11 Viewing the Adapter Configuration
The parameters in table 4.8 provide information about how the
adapter is configured. You can view these parameters at any time.
Table 4.8 – Adapter Configuration Status Parameters
Number
Name
Description
01
DPI Port
The port on the drive to which the adapter is
connected. Usually, it is port 5.
02
DPI Data
Rate
The data rate used by DPI in the drive. It will
be either 125 kbps or 500 kbps. It is set in the
drive, and the adapter detects it.
04
DN Addr
Actual
The node address used by the adapter. This
will be one of the following values:
• The address set by the rotary switches.
• The value of DN Addr Cfg (3) if the switches
have been disabled.
• An old address of the switches or parameter
if they have been changed and the adapter
has not been reset.
06
DN Rate
Actual
The data rate used by the adapter. This will be
one of the following values:
• The data rate set by the DIP switch.
• The value of DN Rate Cfg (5) if the switches
have been disabled.
• An old data rate of the switches or parameter
if they have been changed and the adapter
has not been reset.
07
Ref/Fdbk
Size
The size of the Reference/Feedback. It will
either be 16 bits or 32 bits. It is set in the drive
and the adapter automatically uses the correct
size.
08
Datalink
Size
The size of the Datalinks. It will either be 16
bits or 32 bits. It is set in the drive and the
adapter automatically uses the correct size.
12
DN Active
Cfg
Source from which the adapter node address
and data rate are taken. This will be either
switches or parameters in EEPROM. It is
determined by the settings of the switches on
the adapter.
