About RSNetworx
RSNetworx for DeviceNet is the software tool used to configure your
Compact I/O Series A DeviceNet adapter and its related modules. This
software tool can be connected to the adapter via the DeviceNet
network.
Adding Your Series A
DeviceNet Adapter Offline
To add a Series A 1769-ADN adapter offline, double-click (or drag and
drop) on the 1769-ADN DeviceNet Adapter selection on the left.
Notice that the adapter now appears on your network on the right.
TIP
When selecting the adapter from the hardware tree,
be sure to drill-down to the Major Revision 1 icon
within RSNetWorx, version 4.00 or later. A Major
Revision 2 adapter will be added by selecting the
“1769-ADN DeviceNet Adapter” top-level option
within RSNetWorx, version 4.00 or later.
