Using the Front Display
See the following section
Reset of Accumulators and Log Files
on how to clear the device diagnostics from the front display.
Using PAS
Via PAS, you can both examine the present device
diagnostics status, and clear it.
To enter the Device Diagnostics dialog, select Device Control
from the Monitor menu, and then click on the Device
Diagnostics tab.
To clear the device diagnostics events, click on Clear.
Refer to
in Appendix H for the list of
diagnostic codes and their meanings.
You can also clear the device diagnostics via the Clear
Operation/Event Counters entry in the Reset dialog (see the
following section).
Reset of Accumulators and Log Files
Using the Front Display
Select Reset from the main menu. See
in Chapter 3 for information on navigating in
menus.
Access to the Reset menu entries is allowed depending on
your security level as shown in the following table. Clearing
files is not allowed from the front display.
