Chapter 3: Installation
The Bassoon must be installed in a suitable environment and properly connected to its voltage
supplies and the motor.
3.1. Before You Begin
3.1.1. Site Requirements
You can guarantee the safe operation of the Bassoon by ensuring that it is installed in an
appropriate environment.

Maximum relative humidity 90% non-condensing
Operating area atmosphere No flammable gases or vapors permitted in area
Models for extended environmental conditions are available.
Caution:
The Bassoon drive dissipates heat by natural convection. The maximum
operating ambient temperature of 0 °C to 40 °C (32 °F to 104° F) must not be
exceeded.
