6.2 VLAN Configuration
There are two ways to deploy above network topology in VLAN configuration. They are Port
Based VLAN and 802.1Q VLAN (Tag VLAN), respectively. User can refer to the following
configuration in detail.
The basic consumption is below
„ ERP server, data center or some shared servers are connected to port 25 and port 26,
respectively
„ R&D department can use port 1 to port 8; Sales department can use port 9 to port 16;
Administration department can use port 17 to port 24.
„ Departments cannot communicate each other, but can access ERP server and data
center.
6.2.1 Configuration of Port Based VLAN
Step 1 Select VLAN operation mode to Port Based, then the configuration page will
display.
