autocreate_web

The autocreate_web field determines whether users can be automtically created
when the organization is using POP authentication. This is the Web Autocreate
feature. After an organization’s Authentication Method is set to POP and the
Authentication Data is configured, an administrator can either enable user
autocreation or not. For this autocreation method, a user is added automatically to
the Message Security service when first logging in to the Message Center.

This field is applicable to the Google Message Security, Google Message
Discovery, and Google Message Filtering products only.

Syntax

autocreate_web= |

Examples

When calling the field:

modifyorg sales, autocreate_web=off

When the field is returned:

autocreate_web 0 (off)

Description

Users are created on successful authentication to the Message Center:

off -- Turns this feature off for the org.

on -- Unrecognized users in these domains are added automatically to the
Message Security service when they first log in to the Message Center.

Note:

The numeric equivalents to ‘on’ and ‘off’ are useful for debugging purposes.
