Opening the computer
1 Turn off the computer.
Make sure the computer is plugged in but turned off.
2 Remove the lid from the computer.
For detailed instructions, see the chapter earlier in this manual on installing
the PC Compatibility Card in your computer model.
WARNING The PC Compatibility Card contains sockets for additional
video RAM. To avoid damage to your computer, Apple recommends that
you have your Apple-authorized dealer install additional video RAM
(for a fee). If you attempt to install additional video RAM yourself, any
damage you may cause to your equipment will not be covered by the
limited warranty on your computer. See an Apple-authorized dealer or
service provider for additional information about this or any other
warranty question.
