Hale booster pumps are available for either engine rotation (clockwise), or
opposite engine rotation (counterclockwise) PTO operation. (See Figure 2-
5: “Mechanical Seal Overview,” on page 18.)

TORQUE RATING FOR ITS TRANSMISSION OR PTO, OR ABOVE THE REC-
OMMENDED PTO OUTPUT SPEED AS RECOMMENDED BY THE PTO
MANUFACTURER.
HALE Power Takeoff (PTO) Driven Pumps
Silencer series booster pumps feature a 1-1/2” (38mm) input shaft for con-
nection to a PTO driveline. An optional 1410 companion flange is also
available.
Hale Engine Mounted Pumps
Silencer series booster pumps are available with an adapter to accept #3
and #4 SAE bell housings. Elastomeric couplings are also available for 6-
1/5” (165mm), 10” (254mm) and 11.5” (292mm) clutch discs.
Hale Hydraulic-Drive Pumps
Silencer series boosters pumps are available with an adapter to accept
SAE “C” two and four bolt hydraulic motors with SAE “C” splined output
shafts.
