Screen during route guidance
The driving guidance is given by voice mes-
sages and displays on the screen.
Current time
Setting the time display on or off on
page 97 for on/of of the time display.
Next road to take
Current road
Estimate time of arrival
An estimated time of arrival at the destina-
tion is displayed based on the setting of
“
ETA CALCULATION” in the System set-
tings menu. (The displayed time is only an
estimate.)
Arrow display
Follow the direction indicated by the arrow
displayed on the right.
Distance to the next guidance point
The distance to be covered before the next
announcement.
Speed limit
If the speed limit data for the current road is
stored on the CD, the speed limit is dis-
played. Refer to
on page 43 for on/of of the speed limit dis-
play.
On this display, you can use following multi-
function buttons.
Calculates a bypass on the route in order to
avoid traffic jams or road blocks. Refer to
Avoiding a traffic jam on page 38.
Specifies the location you want to stop over on
the way. Refer to
Displays traffic information for the route cur-
rently being driven. Refer to
Displays all traffic information. Refer to
traffic information on page 37.
Displays a list of roads to take. Refer to
questing the road list on page 36.
Shows information on your current location.

Notes
• The navigation screen is automatically dis-
played when navigation announcements are
given.
• The route is recalculated by the system if devi-
ation from the route is made. During this re-
calculation, “
NEW ROUTE” is displayed on
the right.
• If the speed limit setting is set to on, the max-
imum permissible speed limit for the route is
shown. Refer to
