continues operating when the vehicle engine
is turned off, it may drain battery power.
Resetting the
Microprocessor
When the ignition switch is turned OFF, press-
ing
RESET lets you reset the microprocessor.
Press RESET in the following cases.
• Prior to using this product for the first time
after installation.
• If this product fails to operate properly.
• If there appear to be problems with the op-
eration of the system.
• When changing the combination of the
equipment.
• When adding/removing additional prod-
ucts that attach to this product.
1 Turn the ignition switch OFF.
2 Remove the front panel.
Refer to Removing the front panel on page 12.
3 Press RESET.
Use a pen tip or other pointed instrument.
4 Attach the front panel.
