User Boxes
Logging in to the administrator mode enables you to handle a User Box without entering the password when
opening it.
[TCP Socket Setting]
Configure the TCP Socket settings to have a data communication between
this machine and the application software in your computer.
[IEEE802.1x Authentication
Setting]
Configure IEEE802.1X authentication settings.
[LLTD Setting]
Select whether to enable or disable LLTD.
[SSDP Settings]
Configure the SSDP settings.
[Bluetooth Setting]
Select whether to enable or disable Bluetooth.

To enable a Bluetooth communication, contact your service represent-
ative in advance.

[Open User Box]
Opens the currently created User Box (Public, Group, or Personal User
Box) to enable you to change the User Box setting.
•
Document operations are not available in the administrator mode.
•
User Box operations are available even if a password is specified for
the target User Box.
[Create User Box]
Enables to create a new User Box.
[Open System User Box]
Open the System User Box (Bulletin Board, Confidential RX, Relay, or An-
notation User Box) to enable you to handle a document saved in the User
Box or change the User Box setting.
•
The Bulletin Board and Relay User Boxes are available when the op-
tional Fax Kit is installed.
•
The Confidential RX User Box is available when the optional Fax Kit is
installed while no Hard Disk is installed.
•
The Annotation User Box is available only when a Hard Disk is in-
stalled.
