IP over PPP

IP Info

Displays IP compression protocol status information for a particular PPP link.


IP Configuration Info

Displays IP compression protocol configuration information for a particular PPP

link.

Note

- The current firmware version does not allow the Compression parameter to

be configured. Attempting to configure this parameter will result in the error
message: "The error occurred with 'Set' operation. Error: noSuchName."

Note

- The current firmware version does not allow the Administration Status

parameter to be configured. Attempting to configure this parameter will not result
in an error but the new value will not be applied.

PPP Security

Security Configuration Info

Displays the security configuration information for a particular PPP link.

Note

- The current firmware version does not allow the Protocol parameter to be

configured. Attempting to configure this parameter will not result in an error but
the new value will not be applied.

Note

- The current firmware version does not allow the Status parameter to be

configured. Attempting to configure this parameter will result in the error
message: "The error occurred with 'Set' operation. Error: noSuchName."


Security Secrets

Displays information on the identities and secrets used by the PPP authentication
protocols.

Note

-The current firmware version does not allow the Protocol parameter to be

configured. Attempting to configure this parameter will not result in an error but
the new value will not be applied.

Note

- Setting the Status parameter to 'invalid' clears the corresponding values of

the Identity and Secret parameters.

Note

- AT-View Plus Device Manager allows the user to enter up to 63 characters

for the Identity and Secret parameters. Entering more than 63 characters will
result in the error message: "The error occurred with 'Set' operation. Error: bad
value."

Note

- Security Secrets parameters return to their default values whenever the

device is restarted.
