WARNING!
The HP StorageWorks DAT 72x10 Tape Autoloader weighs 10.45 kg (23.4 lb.) without media, and
12 kg (26.46 lb.) when both magazines are full (10 cartridges). To reduce the risk of personal injury or
damage to the autoloader, 1) observe local health and safety requirements and guidelines for manual
material handing, 2) obtain adequate assistance to lift and stabilize the autoloader during installation or
removal, 3) always remove all tapes to reduce the overall weight of the autoloader.
1.
If the autoloader has plastic feet, they must be removed so the autoloader can fit inside the tabletop
conversion cover. With assistance, gently turn the autoloader over and set it on its back, as shown
below. Peel off the plastic feet. Turn the autoloader right side up.
