Back panel overview
The back panel of the autoloader provides access to SCSI connectors, the tape drive bay and the power
connector. Figure 2 shows the back panel of a autoloader.

Number Description
1 Power connector. The autoloader requires a 110/220 volt AC power connection
2 Fan vent for power supply fan. The fan for the power supply is controlled by a thermal
sensor. This fan does not run continuously but only turns on when the internal temperature
of the system is high
3 Manual release hole for right magazine
4 68-pin HD SCSI connectors
5 Fan vent for drive fan
6 Tape drive tray
7 Manual release hole for left magazine
8 Holder for shipping lock (see “ Removing the shipping lock ” on page 21)
