The following explains about pairs in the figure.
•
Pair 1 is the Continuous Access Synchronous pair.
•
Pair 2 is the Continuous Access Journal pair.
•
Pair 3 is the Continuous Access Journal pair for delta resync.
•
Pair 4, pair 5, and pair 6 are Snapshot pairs.
NOTE:
•
You must create 3DC multi-target configuration for delta resync consisting of pair 1, pair 2,
and pair 3 before creating pair 5, which is a Snapshot pair. You do not need to create 3DC
multi-target configuration for delta resync consisting of pair 1, pair 2, and pair 3 before
creating pair 4, which is a Snapshot pair.

You must create 3DC multi-target configuration for delta resync consisting of pair 1, pair 2,
and pair 3 before creating pair 6, which is a Snapshot pair.
