User Access Levels
To use Remote Web Console, you first need to set up a user account. Remote Web Console user
account contains the following information:
•
User ID
•
User type
•
Password
•
Operation privileges
For Remote Web Console, a user account with a user ID of administrator is initially set. By default,
operation privileges for all functions of Remote Web Console and program product options are
given to the administrator user account. You cannot delete the administrator user account. You
may register up to 500 user accounts, including the administrator account, for Remote Web
Console.
You have to set user ID, user type, and password when you set up a user account. Operation
privileges can be set for each registered user account. To register the user account or to set operation
privileges, use the Account window. For further information on the procedures for registering a
user account and setting operation privileges for Remote Web Console, see
.
The following sections describe user types and operation privileges.
User Types
Remote Web Console provides two types of user access levels: storage administrator and storage
partition administrator. You decide the user type when you register a user account.
