The hard disk type of internal volume as follows:
Internal Volume Information
•
Blank indicates a Fibre Channel drive.
•
An asterisk (*) indicates a SATA drive.
•
A dollar sign ($) indicates a flash drive.
•
A hyphen (-) indicates an external volume.
Indicates if the volume is encrypted or not.
Encryption
•
Enable: The volume is encrypted.
•
Disable: The volume is not encrypted.
•
A hyphen (-) appears when the volume is not an internal volume.
Parity group.
Parity Group
Number of LU paths.
Paths
The attribute set for the volume as follows:
Attribute
•
Pool (X): The volume is set as a pool-VOL, where X indicates the pool ID.
•
V-VOL: The volume is set as a V-VOL for XP Snapshot.
•
TP-VOL: The volume is set as a V-VOL for XP Thin Provisioning.
•
Reserved LDEV: The volume is set as a reserved volume of XP Auto LUN.
•
JNL Volume: The volume is set as a journal volume.
•
System Disk: The volume is set as a system disk.
•
Quorum Disk: The volume is set as a quorum disk.
Information about the external volume is displayed in the format Vendor/ Product name/
Serial number/ Hard disk type. For an internal volume, -/-/-/- is displayed. For a
migration volume, -/-/-/ is displayed. The hard disk type is displayed as follows:
External Volume Information

Number of LU paths that are set for the external volume.
External Paths
Cache Mode was set for the external volume when it was mapped. For an internal volume
or a migration volume, a hyphen (-) appears.
