nic Configures network interface card (NIC) parameters. Assurance of
compatibility with some older switches, hubs, or routers, may require
that you directly specify the Ethernet speed and duplex mode of the
network interface card for the SA9200. The nic command, available at
the serial console, allows you to specify these characteristics.
Example:
monitor>nic
Auto config NIC card? [y] --->n
1 - 100BaseTx
2 - 10BaseTx
Select Media Type (1 or 2): [1] --->1
Use Full Duplex? [y] --->y
Done Ether config: 100basetx,full_duplex
route Specifies the default route (gateway). The current route is listed. Type a
new route to change.
Example:
monitor>route
Enter default route [10.1.1.1] --->10.1.1.2
save Saves the current configuration. Changes made during the current Boot
Monitor session are lost unless you use the
save command.
