To test the Automatic Door Release feature:
1.
At the bottom of the screen, click the Door Opening Test button. A new screen appears.
2.
Choose one of the following:
o
To begin the test and open the rack doors, click OK.
o
To return to the Advanced screen, click Quit.
NOTE:
To avoid an increase in relative humidity, after completing the Door Opening test, be
sure the doors are closed. To verify that the doors are closed, go to the Home screen.
NOTE:
You can also perform this test from the Operator Display.
Dewpoint Monitoring
Dewpoint monitoring determines whether the inlet water temperature is below the dew point, which might
result in excessive condensation.
This feature is enabled by default. To disable dewpoint monitoring:
1.
Click Setup>Advanced.
2.
In the Dewpoint Monitoring field, select Disable.
Condensation pump
Any condensation that forms is collected in each individual cooling module and to a condensation tray
integrated in the base assembly.
As an option, when the specified condensation level in the condensation tray is reached, a sensor activates
a pump that pumps the condensation into the return system. A further discharge tube runs out of the system
from condensation tray to drain excess fluid if needed. This hose should be connected to a collection system
or an external drain. If the optional pump is not installed, condensation is removed through a regular drain
tube. This drain tube must be connected downward to a collection system.
To ensure reliable drainage:
•
Ensure no kinks form in the drainage hose.
•
Do not reduce diameter of drainage hose.
•
Route the drainage hoses so that they always run downhill.
To avoid excessive buildup of condensate and to conserve energy, consider raising the cooling water
temperature to the necessary cooling capacity.
To enable the condensation pump:
1.
Click Setup>Advanced.
