6.7 DSM/SCM SUPPORT
In order to configure Web ViewPoint to work with DSM/ SCM, the user will need to first use IPSETUP to copy the
Web ViewPoint Software from the CD to the Server.
Once the Software is present on the Server, you will need to use the DSMSCM Planner Interface to “Receive” the
Software into the Archive.
After this is done, you will need to proceed with normal DSM/ SCM operations to create a New Software Revision
and the use of the “Build/ Apply” command from within DSM/ SCM to manage the newly received software.

DSM/ SCM User’s Guide.
6.8 SOFTWARE LICENSE OPTIONS/RENEWALS
Web ViewPoint has two kinds of licenses:
Evaluation license for trial version
Customer license for standard version
EVALUATION LICENSE:
Once Web ViewPoint is activated, if there is an internet connection on the PC used to access WVP then the product
automatically fetches a temporary license (usually 60 days) from HP WebViewPoint.com. If there is no internet
