Resolution: Choose from one of the following four resolutions. Web ViewPoint automatically aggregates
data over time into these resolutions, and maintains this data for a predefined period of time, which is
different for each resolution, as stated below:

Tuning Window – Choose whether a Tuning Window should be calculated and overlaid on the graph. This
window is displayed as a shaded area and defines the acceptable range of CPU busy for all CPUs to
maintain a tuned environment. Note that this Window varies based on different resolutions and the
period of time for which data is displayed.
5.4.4 PROCESS WINDOW
5.4.4.1 PROCESS SETTINGS PAGE
This Window is used to define the selection criteria for the list of processes you want to be displayed. The setting
you define here is also recorded in a cookie on your PC. This cookie is read and used the next time you return to
the Process setting screen. The screen is displayed in two separate areas as described below:
For CPU: Choose the CPUs (select one, all, or any subset) that are to be the scope of your inquiry.
Return: This is where you specify the type of information you want to be returned for the CPUs you’ve
selected earlier/above. You may ask to list process information for either all processes or the top (1, 5, or 10)
busiest processes to be refreshed at the selected intervals (15, 30, 60, or 90 seconds). Note that the busy list
applies for your selected CPUs, per CPU, when they are specifically selected. If you have chosen the “All”
option for CPUs, then the busiest processes for the system (across all CPUs) will be displayed.
Click on the Submit button, once your selections are made. The list of all processes results in a static list of
processes. Busy process lists are dynamic and are updated continuously at selected intervals.
