P Mode
• In [ ] mode, optical zoom is set to maximum wide angle.
• In [ ] mode, use of digital zoom may cause images to appear
grainy at some resolutions ( = 45 ).
• In [ 8] mode, subjects at close range may not be in focus. In this
case, try setting the focus range to [ ].
• [ ] and [ 8 ] are not available in [Tracking AF] AF frame mode ( = 38 ).
Image Effects (Creative Filters)
Add a variety of effects to images when shooting.
1 Enter [ ] mode.
z z Set the mode dial to [ ].
2 Choose a shooting mode.
z z Press the < m> button, choose [ ] in
the menu, and then choose a shooting
mode ( = 24 ).
3 Shoot.
