XX The fax machine has a mechanical problem. Unplug the machine. Then contact
your Brother dealer for service.
NO
RESPONSE/BUSY The number you dialled does not answer or is
busy. Verify the number and try again.
OUT OF MEMORY The data is too large for the fax machine’s
memory. (See Out of memory message on
page 6-19.)
PAPER JAM The paper is jammed in the fax machine. (See Printer Jam or Paper Jam on
page 13-3.)
