ERROR MESSAGES
Any error message may be cleared by using the ‘Global Reset’ by pressing and
holding the INDEX & ENTER keys for five seconds.

Display is blank.
Instrument is not getting
power, or the supply
voltage is too low.

Fail test appears
upon power up if the
internal diagnostics
detect a failure. This
message may occur
during operation if
a failure is detected.
Displays flash.
Fail test may also
occur due to an
EEPROM failure.
This message will
appear upon power
up if S P 1 , S P 2 , # S P 1 ,
or # # S P is set outside
of the S P L or S P H
values.

This message appears
at power up if
S P L or S P H values are
programmed outside
the input range ends.
This message appears
if the analog
remote set point
signal is out of range.
This message appears
if the Serial
Communications has
timed out.

Action Required
Check that the power supply is on,
measure supply voltage, check that
the external fuses are good.

The display alternates between

messages: F A C t d F L t : Memory may
be corrupted. Press the
DOWN ARROW & ENTER keys to
return control to the factory default
settings. Recheck controller
programming. r E t F A C t :
Unrecoverable error, return to factory
for service.

Correct the S P 1 , etc. or adjust the
S P L or S P H values by programming
new values.

Correct the S P L or S P H values by
programming new values.

The control will revert to S P 1 .
Correction of the analog signal or
turning O F F the r S P t clears the error
message.
Change the L o r E to L O C . Restore the
communications line and switch L o r E
back to r E .
