B.43 [SOURce:]CURRent:MODE? QUERY
CURR:MODE?
Syntax:
Short Form: [SOUR:]CURR[:LEV]:MODE?
Long Form: [SOURce:]CURRent[:LEVel]:MODE?
Return value: FIXED or LIST
Description: Identifies active voltage mode. Returns LIST while list is being executed. Returns FIXED while in
fixed (default) mode of operation. Related Commands: LIST commands. (See example, Figure B-3.)
B.44 [SOURce:]CURRent:PROTection[:LEVel] COMMAND
CURR:PROT
Syntax:
Short Form: [SOUR:]CURR:PROT[:LEV]
Long Form: [SOURce:]CURRent:PROTection[:LEVel]
Description: Sets overcurrent protection level for power supply. If the value is out of the acceptable overcurrent
range for the power supply model, error message -222,”Data out of range” is posted in the output
queue. If the power supply output exceeds the current protection level programmed, the power supply
circuit breaker trips. (See example, Figure B-4.)
B.45 [SOURce:]CURRent:PROTection[:LEVel]? QUERY
CURR:PROT?
Syntax:
Short Form: [SOUR:]CURR:PROT[:LEV]? {MIN | MAX}
Long Form: [SOURce:]CURRent:PROTection[:LEVel]? {MIN | MAX}
Return Value:
Description: Returns value representing current protection level.CURR:PROT? returns value set by
CURR:PROT. CURR:PROT? MAX returns maximum current protection value (see Table 1-2). This
value is determined at the factory and cannot be changed by the user. CURR:PROT? MIN returns the
minimum current protection value (always 0). (See example, Figure B-4.)
Description: Returns the current value established by CURR:TRIG command. (See example, Figure B-1.)
B.46 [SOURce:]CURRent:RANGe COMMAND
CURR:RANG
Syntax:
Short Form: [SOUR:]CURR:RANG:LOW or [SOUR:]CURR:RANG:UPP
Long Form: [SOURce:]CURRent:RANGe:LOWer or [SOURce:]CURRent:RANGe:UPPer
Description: Selects high scale or low scale Current range. CURR:RANG:LOW selects Low scale,
CURR:RANG:UPP selects High scale. Low scale = Io
MAX
/10, High scale = Io
MAX
. Refer to PAR.
3.2.10 for complete description.
B.47 [SOURce:]CURRent:RANGe? QUERY
CURR:RANG?
Syntax:
Short Form: [SOUR:]CURR:RANG?
Long Form: [SOURce:]CURRent:RANGe?
Return Value: 0 or 1
Description: Identifies current scale selected. Returns 0 for low scale, 1 for high scale.
B.48 [SOURce:]CURRent[:LEVel]:TRIGgered[:AMPlitude] COMMAND
CURR:TRIG
Syntax:
Short Form: [SOUR:]CURR[:LEV]:TRIG[:AMP]
Long Form: [SOURce:]CURRent[:LEVel]:TRIGgered[:AMPlitude]
Description: Programs current value to be transferred to output by *TRG commands. Actual output current
will depend on load conditions. If the value exceeds the CURR:LIM[:HIGH] value, error message -
222,”Data out of range” is posted in output queue. Related Commands: CURR. (See example, Figure
B-1.)
