Storing for More than Two Weeks
To store the device safely for longer than two weeks, follow these steps:
1. Back up your data.
2. Tap the Applications Manager icon to close all running programs.
3. Charge the battery pack to full capacity (100%).
4. Unplug the wall charger.
5. Press the power button until the power
button menu appears.
6. Select Power Off from the menu.
7. Place the RuggedReader in a safe, dry place.
Taking the RuggedReader out of Extended
Storage
The battery pack discharges slightly during extended storage periods.
When you are ready to use your RuggedReader again, follow these
steps so your battery pack runs efficiently:
1. Plug the RuggedReader into a charger.
2. Charge the battery pack.
You can check the battery power status by tapping on the battery
icon at the top of the screen.
