Using an External
Radio Transmitter
Using a Supported Radio:
• Choose the model of radio used from the
Device drop-down
list. You may need to make some additional settings,
depending on the model of radio you are using.
When shown, the
button next to the
Device drop-
down list, should be used to access and make these
additional settings. See table below.
Refer to Additional Settings for External Radios on
page 54 for more information.
Using a Non-Supported Radio:
• Select “Cable or Generic Device” from the
Device drop-
down list.
• Set the port baud rate to between 1200 and 115200 Bd
to be in agreement with the radio used.
• Refer to the manufacturer documentation to set the radio.
NOTE: With ProMark 220, on the
RTK tab, “Port B” is
reported to be the port used for the connection to the radio.
This should be understood as “port COM5” on ProMark 220
side.
